The representative temple of Gangwon-do  Beopheungsa Temple in Sajasan Mt.

Beopheungsa Temple is a temple located in front of Sajasan Mt., Beopheung-ri Suju-myeon Yeongwol-gun. It’s the one of 5 Jeokmyeolbogung which enshrined Jinsinsari of Buddha in Korea. Jajangyulsa has established and enshrined Jinsinsari of Buddha inside of temple. There are Jeokmyeolbogung, Jinghyodaesa  Bointapbi, Jinghyodaesa Budo, Heungnyungseonwonji, Geukrakjeon, Mandnrajeon, Samnsunggak, beomjonggak, Cavern and Surimji in the temple. It has a great view with curb valley road to Jeolgol and thick pine trees road with native rock stairs.

Travel Point: Beopheung Valley with clear water and 9 summits (Gubongdae) located in front of the temple creates a fantastic view. It is easy for hiking within Baeduksan Mt. and Gubongdaesan Mt.
